Building Business Owners, Creating Generational Wealth & Changing Lives
3.5 million entrepreneurs across the U.S. have prior justice involvement — proof that ownership is attainable
Returning-citizen business owners earn 11% higher incomes than peers in traditional employment
Entrepreneurship leads to 33% lower recidivism rates — some programs below 10%
Justice-impacted entrepreneurs employ 2+ million workers nationwide, creating opportunities for entire communities
Each year, 25,000–30,000 people release from federal prison — if just 1–7% start businesses, that’s 250–2,100 new community businesses annually
Incarceration to Incorporation

Our Story
Built by Experience. Powered by Purpose.
Inc. to Inc. (Incarcerated to Incorporated) was established to address the missing link in reentry support: ownership opportunity.
Justice-impacted individuals often return home with motivation but encounter barriers to employment, financing, licensing, credit, and mentorship. While job placement offers short-term income, it rarely results in independence or long-term stability.
Our founder saw firsthand that the most consistent path to transformation came through entrepreneurship — not employment dependency.
Business ownership enables:
- Economic freedom
- Leadership identity
- Community impact
- Family stability
- True second chances
This belief drives everything we do.
Business Incubation & Launch Support
Each participant receives assistance with:
- Business plan completion
- Licensing and insurance navigation
- Sales strategy deployment
- Branding setup (name, logo, email, website guidance)
- Funding readiness
This is not theory — this is enterprise creation.
